Driving Innovation Across Atom Valley
Atom Valley is built on collaboration, innovation and investment. Across Oldham, Rochdale and Bury, businesses are developing pioneering products, embracing new technologies and finding new ways to increase productivity.
The Oldham Council Innovation Grant helps businesses take the next step by supporting capital investment projects that can:
- Introduce new products or services
- Adopt innovative technologies and processes
- Increase productivity and efficiency
- Enable expansion into new markets
- Create new employment opportunities
- Support sustainable business growth
The fund focuses particularly on businesses operating within key growth sectors, including:
- Manufacturing
- Construction
- Digital and creative industries
- Low carbon and green technology
Funding Available
Eligible businesses can apply for funding worth up to 50% of project costs, with grants of up to £10,000 available.
Funding can support projects such as:
- Purchasing innovative machinery or equipment
- Expanding existing premises
- Relocating into larger facilities to support growth
- Investing in technology that improves productivity and competitiveness
Projects must demonstrate innovation, growth potential and job creation, with at least one full-time role created before March 2027.
